Technology is evolving at a face rate from day to day bases and is a crucial component to current society. Thanks to the revolution of technology, human clones were introduced to society not too long ago. With the introduction of human clones, what will be the vision of human clones and the impact the robots will have in society?
One of my main sources came from the LexisNexis database. By researching into the database, the chosen article was called "Humanoid Robot 'Sophia' gives rise to query if robots can replace humans". This article was written by Free Press Journal by an unknown staff reporter. This article shows that robots won't be able to replace humans in the future as many people are worrying the invention of robots will slowly replace the works of humans. I think this source will be able to back up the paper by showing the influence of robots and how coexistent of mankind and robots will be. This article was chosen over any other article because the way the article was written was straight forward. Also, the topic of article seemed to be a perfect fit for the research paper.
"Robots are not meant to replace humans but should be created and used for the benefit of humanity. There is a long way to go for robots to reach where humans are. Robots are meant to help so they should not be considered a threat to mankind."
Second source came from LexisNexis database as well. As one of the source of the paper, which was the I, Robot movie itself, I chose the review of the movie as my other source called "Robophobia in I, Robot". This was written by an author called Weidi, Ehsan and was published through a source called International Review of Psychiatry. This article is a basic review of I, Robot which will help support my paper overall since the main focus is on the movie itself. Not only this source reviews the movie itself, but also this source may actually tie into my first source mentioned above as the article talks about the anxiety of robots being introduced into the society; humans will fear once intelligent robot is officially introduced into the world as the robots will be a better resource than humans.
